The staff here were friendly and a joy to interact with, and we appreciated having a guest room with an ashtray during our stay.

A nice enough area, particularly good and comfortable location right by a greek restaurant that was very good, the autobahn and Hamburg. Plus, minutes away from Barbican House.

My dog and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Zur Windmuhle. the staff were friendly and courteous throughout our visit. the room was spacious, featuring three beds, which was a nice surprise. the location is excellent, within walking distance to all the attractions I wanted to explore. I found the restaurant to be very nice as well. the place offers great value for the price.

All rooms where full of tabaco smell, but it was unsmoking room. INternet dont worked. Payment could be made only by cash, because internet dont worked. Internet problems have not been solved even in 24 hours. Do not recomend this hotel to others.

my room was at end of corridor with two other corridors leading off from there, and the fire doors slammed shut regularly. my guess is it was the worst room in the hotel for quiet!

our stay in stapelfeld was pleasant, but zur windmuhle completely exceeded our expectations. the friendly staff, delicious food, and lovely atmosphere made for a memorable experience. wifi worked great and the location was convenient. we'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and courteous. The restaurant was excellent with good food and a nice atmosphere. Good links to the motorway (autobahn) but far enough off that you forgot that it was there! Very nice surroundings.

Unfortunately I must of miss read the booking as I needed a twin room as I shared the room with a business colleague but the two single beds were fixed together. Its a german thing which I have never understood? So we had to put a mattress on the floor. The hotel was fully booked so another room was not an option.
